This fun vintage carnival birthday party was created for my very own munchkins!  My daughter was turning 5 and my son was turning 1 so we dreamed up this gender neutral theme.

IMG_0733 I loved creating all the little details for this party.  Chalkboards were a big part of the decorations.

IMG_0620_1 I created a cupcake stand out of cake pans for a vintage feel and another out of styrofoam cake forms wrapped in tickets.

IMG_0660_1 IMG_0658 At the time I was semi-obsessed with buntings, so I made this mini version for the cupcakes.

IMG_0656 Some friends let us borrow a popcorn machine and the church my husband works at let us borrow their snow cone machine and inflatable slide.

IMG_0894_1 We had hot dogs, glass bottle cokes, and lemonade pre-made in mason jars.

IMG_0746 IMG_0751 IMG_0924 We had face painting and games for the little ones.

IMG_0923 IMG_0623 IMG_0712 IMG_0767_1 And we created a “photo booth” backdrop with props for picture taking and it was a big hit!
